Every day, MAF mission staff face the challenges brought about by isolation, loneliness and the pressure of living in a developing area. Along with the blessings of Christian service, MAF staff also deal with frustration, constantly changing circumstances, cultural differences, long days and hard work in the air and on the ground. They need to sense the call of God to this vocation.

The challenge of living and providing highly specialised services in less accessible areas of the world is a team effort - it not only involves pilots, engineers and support staff but other crucial team members - people just like you. MAF mission staff face a host of obstacles - tropical diseases, homesickness, difficult flying conditions and more, so you can imagine what a blessing it is for them to know that you are praying for them.
