Our staff are considered full time technical missionaries. They rely on the prayer and financial support of churches and individual supporters to provide for their families, and this in turn helps maintain aviation services in remote areas.

Every MAF staff member working overseas is expected to develop financial partners as well as prayer partners. Each member, single or married, is required to raise a minimum level of financial support. The finance raised enables staff to carry out high value ministry at subsidised rates.

MAF New Zealand currently has 18 staff serving overseas. Pilots, engineers, and professionals in such fields as Information Technology, Human Resources, accounts and administration make up the "family" of MAF.

Staff on leave are keen to come and share their experiences at your church, bible study or home group.
