MAF is a faith-based not-for-profit organisation that recovers a varying proportion of costs from users. Many users are unable to pay for the assistance they need so MAF subsidises many flights such as medical evacuations. With high costs of aviation and many needy users, we depend on support to help fund the cost of subsidised flights, aircraft maintenance, insurance, fuel and other operational costs.
