Kevin & Angela Nicholls alt
Jeremy and Peter

Serving with MAF in Carins
Kevin has been working in the field of Aircraft Maintenance for 30 years with Air New Zealand and the Christchurch Engine Centre, while Angela's professional background is in Occupational Therapy. They have two wonderful sons, Jeremy (16) and Peter (13).

In 1985 Kevin felt a definite call on his life that sometime he would serve God in aviation. After a trip in early 2008 to Cambodia (to visit their sponsored child), and attending a mission's course, this call was again rekindled. It is very clear that God's heart is for mission, and Kevin and Angela both felt challenged to use their skills and experience, to help present (and practically demonstrate) God's good news through MAF.

This call has been confirmed and supported by their home church, Parklands Baptist Community Church, who are now sending them out for this purpose. Kevin commences the role of Regional Quality Manager (MAF Asia Pacific), based in Cairns, in February 2009. Angela will support Kevin in this role, while also seeking part time employment as an Occupational Therapist. Jeremy and Peter are also excited to be part of this work.

Kevin and Angela believe that organisations like MAF provide an essential life line to front line missionaries, as well as transporting vital aid, relief, and medical supplies, and as such play a critical part in extending God's Kingdom and communicating His love for all people.

As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 1 Peter 4:10 (NASB)
