MAF people reach out to other people, primarily using aviation and technology but often through community involvement and practical Christian ministries. Along with pilots and operations staff at various bases, highly skilled and trained engineers serve flight operations from strategic locations. Staff trained in administration, information technology, accounting, project management, marketing and recruitment work in support of overseas operations. It is not uncommon for MAF personnel to be accompanied by wives or husbands skilled in other trades and professions. Spouses may bring much needed skills in fields such as medicine or teaching. Others may be trained in theology or mission. MAF NZ families serving on the front lines of mission in remote areas face harsh challenges brought on by extremes of climate and terrain, isolation and cultural or religious differences. Your prayers and financial support for each family are a great encouragement, and your email messages are most welcome.
